Constant Writing

I realize the only way I'll ever be a good writer (as I am now somewhat decent) is to keep writing every single day. There's no big secret. If you want to be good at what you do then practice, practice and practice more. In fact,Alastair Crompton (author of The Copy Book),had a good idea on how to be a good copywriter. Crompton said he knew a colleague who would just write simply about everything and anything. And the best part of all, the colleague would write up to 1,500 per day!!!

Fuck! No matter how many twitter post you write, you'll never come close to that!

Nevertheless, this is the only way. Or, you can write lyrics like I do. But it works for me. I find it very therapeutic. It calms me down. In a nutshell, I'm improving my writing skills but also expanding my writing expertise. And I welcome you to try it. Don't moan and be lazy about it. This is the only way. There is not shortcut to greatness. Unless you decide to settle with "ok" and "decent". At least aim for good.
