Never have I regretted the moment I know her
She had a smile that could just melt any guys heart. She had the personality that could just give life to the Tinman from the wizard of Oz. She has the heart of a gentle warm sun during a calm spring. And I was lucky enough to know her in Leo Burnett out of all the places in the world. And in 3 months, I’ve fallen for her without even knowing it until the very end. The end of something great. The end of something I would never expected. The end of the story.
We were always at eachothers throat , joking around and having fun at the end of every conversation. Those little things we do were blissful and how important it is to actually acknowledge that the beautiful things in life are actually the little things that we do. And how painful it would be when those little things are left in our heart and worst, our mind. But it is also a sign that we are human and we should be lucky to be able to feel. Sorry for digressing the topic, I shall get back to it now. As I was saying, while I smile faintly with my hands on the keyboard and my thoughts and mind running freely in the wild plains of emotion, everything that has a beginning has an ending. Sad but its true.
We parted ways while confessing what has been kept within our hearts and it wasn’t pretty. But I’m glad I confessed to her that “ I’m falling for you.” And I don’t regret one bit because I never lie to myself about something or someone, especially to someone that I’ve fallen for. While I’m listening to Dashboard Confessional’s “Don’t Wait” song, I realized that somehow, somewhere in the future there’s a chance we might cross paths- which is a good thing . It must be weird to see eachother and hopefully I’m still falling for her by then. Although I still am.
If I was called in by the Mahkamah Syariah to be a victim and she was the defendant and the case is about her killing my heart , this is how the scenario goes.
Lawyer : I called upon S.Muhammad Azraai bin S.Muhammad Azmi to come to the stand.
(comes out from behind the door and looks at her and smiles weakly while memories run and play in my mind)
Lawyer : Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth or help me god ( I don’t know how they do it here but I know how they do it in the states).
Azraai: I do
Lawyer : Do you now the lady that broke your heart?
Azraai: I do
Lawyer : Is she in here today , in this court?
Azraai : Yes she is.
Lawyer : Can you point out where she is?
Azraai : She’s right there ( stands up while pointing at her with a painful expressions)
(Crowds murmurs)
Lawyer : Is it true that she hurt you?
Azraai : Yes she did.
Lawyer : How?
Azraai: Mentally and emotionally.
Lawyer : and?
Azraai : And she killed my heart.
(crowds murmurs louder)
Lawyer : How did you know her?
Azraai : While I was in Leo Burnett.
Lawyer : Are you positive, she killed your heart?
Azraai : yes sir.
Lawyer: Did you ever regret knowing her?
Azraai : Never. I never regretted one bit
Lawyer: (puzzled) Why?
Azraai: Because I was falling for a girl and that is human. That's why I didn't regret one bit.
