You and me and Isetan.
I used to walk around Isetan; especially on the top floor. That's where the supermarket was. During this time, I was still taking the LRT with my girlfriend. And we used to walk there just to kill time before our movie started. Occasionally, we would buy some tidbits; like Dove Chocolate, Chicken Kaarage, Pokka Jasmine Green Tea, Kitkat, Chips and all sorts of things. Yeah, we were quite the food expert - which explain our expanding waistline. Yet all in all, we were happy back then even just by walking in a Japanese supermarket.
Don't get me wrong. We are still together; as well as fat and happy.
It's just that I really do miss those days; low pay, eating sparsely, watching flicks and calling the cab at midnight. These are priceless memory. Where else can you find a hangout place that has everything? To me, KLCC was my third home (my office being second). Without fail, my girlfriend and I would go there every single day. I practically know every nooks and crannies of the place. In fact, if I had to draw a blueprint of KLCC, I could!
But things change. The beauty and the small pocket of places that KLCC used to have are long gone. Everything is bigger now. The layout is different and I no longer know what is where and where is what. KLCC is getting too big for my own liking and sooner or later, I have to find another place.
However I digress.
The point that I'm trying to make here is that we should all cherish the hardships. Without it, we wouldn't be here. Yeah, it's tough and things can get really rough; trying to control the frustration and feeling inadequate can take up a lot of your energy. Which is why it is good. The sooner you get used to it the better you rise up.
Hey, if Bane didn't break Batman's back, he wouldn't come back stronger right?
