Come rain (not the singer).

It has been raining heavily in KL. It is good as the weather has been very unkind to me. Especially when I go to bed. Because whenever I wake up, I’m soaked. And the sweat will seep into my pillows, which in turn, make them smell like the river at Masjid Jamek. And I hate that smell. If the smell is really bad, my grandmother would change it for me and give me a quick guilt trip for treating her like a maid.

I could’ve installed an aircond but my salary wouldn’t allow it. There are just too many bills for me to cover. From credit card to insurance and to my sister, my money is disappearing faster than Criss Angel’s fame. So I did the unthinkable. I tried to ask my boss for an increment. Unfortunately, I was politely and diplomatically declined.

On top of that, I still think my writing sucks. How do the hell does one memorizes the rules of grammar? I don’t have a good memory to begin with! So in a nutshell, I’m pretty much fucked from all sides. Although I thank my lucky stars that I know the difference between “singular” and “plural”.

Yet, it is good that it is raining. It helps to wash these issues away.
