A random short story
I thought since I've been away for so long, I should start my blog again by doing something different. So, without further ado, here's a little short story that was inspired by a true event. Enjoy.
Mase’s phone rang and he quickly picked it up, but allowed a couple of seconds to compose his cool self before sounding like a fool. The ringtone he assigned to this specific phone call was “Beautiful” by Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrel Willaims and everytime it rang, Mase’s heart always skipped a beat.
“Hello?” he answered non-chalantly and his voice changed from a normal malay guy to a Melayu Bercakap American(nice eh?). His tone of voice also became much deeper and his posture is now more mascular and commanding, as if a spell has been cast at him by an unknown force – or in general, a hot girl.
After a few laughs and giggles, like an excited Japanese girl, Mase grabs his jacket, and leaves the house to see the girl that has been talking with him the whole time. She was already in front of his house. With her car. Looking excited.
“Be cool playa” Mase said to himself.
He waltzed towards the girl’s car and knocks on the window. “Are you lost miss?” and the girl smiled instantly, acknowledging his charm. She asked him to get in and he coolly accepts and walks around the car to get to the front side seat.
“You cut your hair!” she said and Mase’s just nodded. But in truth, he didn’t cut his hair at all for the last 4 months. And yet he finds it weird that he’s agreeing to her like a puppy that is hungry for acknowledgement.
They drove off and set their adventure out.
