My Sissy Side

I was at KLCC yesterday, because Ashraff, the account manager from Dentsu Malaysia was going to shop around with his wife. So I tagged along to get home from KLCC Lrt.

We parted our ways once we reached Cold Storage and I went to the bank and took some money out to buy some books in Kinokuniya

I got me Blink by Malcolm Gladwell and Merriam Websters Dictionary. So, to digress no further this is what happened.

I was lining up for the tickets when I caught a sight of a tudung-ed malay lady with an indian lady talking, but the indian lady had a little baby boy with her. The malay lady kept caressing and playing around with the little baby all the time. I was touched. It was a beautiful sight. Everyone around just looked as if it's not normal.
The baby kept touching the tudung of the malay lady but failed helplessly except he smiled all the time when he did. Gotta love diversity but we need to show it more often.

The whole time I kept looking at both of these ladies of two different races, one thing always seems to be clear to me, when we just show love instead of hate, things could be much better.

That's not a hard task to do. Isn't it?

Blink is a remarkable book - my fav read of 2006! It shed light on what I thought was a conflicting subject - don't want to taint your expererience of the book so I'll share after you've read it.
