The IT Crowd

Once in a while, there comes along a sitcom so good and so brilliant that it makes you want to watch it until it finishes. A few examples would be: The Office, Extras, Entourage, Little Britain and Game Of Thrones.

Now there's a new addition to that orgasmic list - The IT Crowd.

The IT Crowd is a British sitcom about three young adults working in the IT department. But don't be fooled by their profession. There's a lot of calamity, chaos and laughter that ensue in their respective department. It stars Chris O' Dowd (Bridesmaid), Richard Ayoade (The Watch) and Katherine Parkinsons ( don't know who she is).

Created by Graham Linehan, this is the creator's third successful sitcom. In fact, his previous work (Father Ted) had won a couple of awards.  Personally, I have yet to see Linehan's 'Father Ted' but his current show is definitely a must watch. And like most comedic Brit writers, the comedy is very situational (think The Office and Extras).

I have to say, discovering this show was an accident. It was first recommended by my colleague at work. In fact, he recommended me to watch this as a reference for my radio ad ( yes, I was working on a radio ad that involves Brit accent).

The moment I watched the first series, I was hooked. In fact, I'm currently finishing up the last season of The IT Crowd.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I got one more episode to finish.
