The deer, the party and the perodua.
Well, 2011 is just about done packing up its luggage and retire with the rest of the years. And 2012 is warming up for its big entrance.
Three things happened as we come close to New Years:
1. The Kancils Awards 2011 saw Naga DDB(my current agency) rising up to number 3. Whilst Leo Burnett fell to oblivion.
2. Naga DDB held an awesome Xmas Party (I never knew ad agency party could be so 18SX dan lain lain).
3. From one finished campaign, my partner and I were roped into another one - Perodua Campaign.
Hence the title of this post.
Wow, I should be tired or pissed off about this right? I mean, give a dog a bone yo. No one works from one campaign to another!!
WRONG.
This is the agency life baby. If you can't hack it then sell some hot dogs. That's how we roll. For me, I've been fortunate enough to work really close with Alvin Teoh (Naga DDB, ECD) in terms of writing scripts and such.
But to understand the way he thinks, I'm lucky to see it before my very eyes.
