The thing about being good.

Everyone wants to be good.

Who wants to be bad? It doesn't make sense right?

If I get sick, I want to meet a good doctor, cuz he knows his shit, right?

If I want to sell my product, I want to find a good agency, cuz they know their shit, right?

If I want to get a camera phone, I want to find a good camera phone brand, cuz it knows its shit, right?

And etc.

So to sum it up, it feels great to be good at what you do.

But here's the thing about being good, it has a price. A hefty one.

Can you be consistent?

Can you take it if one moment you suck so bad?

Can you handle burn-out?

Can you handle random depression?

Can you handle not having a personal life?

Because the thing about being good is, it ain't EASY.

So for those who think they are not good enough, consider yourself lucky. Because you have a choice to be mediocre.

And for those who wants to be good, consider yourself screwed. Because you have no choice but to go up.

The only best part of being good is, it pays well and respect pours like honey. And the view from the top is always the best.
