Back From Bali

I’ve been thinking the best way to write the return of myself in the blogosphere on my blog (Duh) and some of the choices are as follows (pardon the tacky shit).

9. Ahh, the fresh smell of blog in the morning!

And that’s pretty much the list of my return in the blogosphere. I have to admit, I fancy the second last line, but you guys do the vote!

Ahneeeways, so what happened to me? First I was in Japan and then I’m in Bali. I’m like a Jumper. Not as good looking as Hayden Christensen (and as slim as he is) but still rates fairly average on the hensem scale. Hahaha ( okey shut up rae).

My trip to Bali was an eventful one because 1. I met my long lost brother Morian Madjid. 2. I was a participant in the Young Media Spikes which is judged by the legendary John “The Vertical Man” Merrifield. 3. I took a picture with a living legend whose name is Jeff “The Muthafuckin Greatest Creative ever breathe on this muthafuckin earth” Goodby. Scuze the French. It was a one week getaway from the hectic life in my agency and during this moment while I was in Bali, I was inspired for as long that I can remember. My spirit and hope in advertising rekindled again. And hopefully for the longest time.

I didn’t win the young spikes. Tough nuggets. I’ll be back next year Johnny boy and make sure you bring Eric Vevrogen again! He gonna be askin for my name after that! Sheeioiit. The winners of this competition will be sent to Cannes for one week, fully paid by the kind committee Media Spikes. Not bad eh?

But what impressed me the most is the caliber and the integrity of the judges in this event. The “real” work that they judged was fair and sound, not like the one in Bangkok and the one in KL which I will not name. But I’m sure you figured it out by now.

So, in conclusion. Well I have no conclusion because since when did I have any conclusion to conclude?
